I had my annual doctor’s appointment last week, and was embarrassed and dismayed when he told me that I had to stop masturbating. Hurt and confused, I asked him why. Surely it’s not dangerous since I disproved my mom’s accusation of early-onset macular degeneration years ago, and my dad’s theory about localized palmar hypertrichosis had also been proven absurdly unscientific. So again I asked my doctor, “why must I stop?”
He said it was distracting him.
