Strongest Man In The World Dies

I have known great and powerful people in my life, but yesterday the strongest man I have ever known has left our earthly graces and ascended to his rightful place of eternal ecstasy and bliss.

He was a giant among men, who spoke softly, and epitomized the word gentleman. He lived his life heart-first and truly loved those around him with every part of his being. He was a man’s man, having worn the Golden Gloves and left every ring in life a winner. Yet he had the soul of a poet, loving nothing more than to be with others and share the camaraderie, a cup of coffee, and a few games of domino s from time to time never hurt…

Humility was his hallmark, every word he spoke was for others as he took none for himself. The tears of a child were his enemy and he confronted them with joy & clowning until the only remaining tears were those of laughter.

His life stands as a legacy and a testimony about what type of person we all can become no matter what challenges you are born with, nor those that we must confront throughout our lives.

I remember this strong man, with his huge heart, his broad shoulders, and his open arms. I will carry his memory with me always, and the only people who should be saddened by his departure are those who never had the privilege to meet him.

Goodbye Jack.
